Just logged in....didnt have anything else to do on the net...no friends online......not in the mood to surf those "informational" sites.......nothing new in the mails......not even the fwds that my mailbox usually seems to be flooded with.......

Anyways.....the weather outside is great....its pouring.....been raining the whole day......and the streets are flooded.......something thats not unusual in a place like cal.....was outside for some time....atop the roof of this 13 storeyed building.....and the view is just awesome!!!! the whole city is lighted up (miraculously no load shedding!!!).......and there's something special in seeing it this way......the wind is at its highest......and you can actually see the rain getting carried away.....the trees trying in vain to resist the onslaught......there'd probably be lots of branches lying around tomorow morning.......and believe you me.....could actually hear the frogs croaking from that height!!!! A typical day at the office too....most people come late....."no transport available yaar...plz inform the boss"......"mere ghar ke saamne paani bhar gaya hai....can't move out...could you switch on my PC and see if there are any mails?"........

Hi…this is that time of my life(nothing new…happens with just about everyone who comes to this earth!) where I move from one world to a another…..time when I’m about to leave the hallowed halls of college and move on to what I was actually here for in the first place….yeah..no prizes for guessing this….work…career… and this is where you experience the difference….and look back on all those nights you’d stayed up studying for exams..and hoped (lesser mortals like me did…yes!!!) that the the exam room will blow up…or the papers would catch fire…or there’ll be an earthquake…..and ..most simply put..the exam will get cancelled! And now you wish you these days weren’t getting over so soon…and maybe you could spend a little more time faffing with friends…and those awesome teachers (only some of them…mind you...I believe there’s a kans mama like sir….or a bindu like ma’am everywhere!) who actually treated you like kids…..a little more time in the canteen…..guffawing about the new “beings” in

Rainy days!!!!

So...where was i?? yeah.....those rainy day one - liners...and then you have the people trickling in...."My!! what a weather!!!" or "the rain water came up to my knees".......the more dramatic ones like "You know what????i fell into a manhole"......"puray engine mein paani ghus gaya tha"......desperate ones ( i mean...the more committed ones) "no taxis coming this way........the one that did charged me double"...bla bla bla............I know there's nothing new in this blog yet....probably happens every time there's a shower.......and probably would happen in all the years that I'll stay alive for maybe........but the thing that actually made me write about this was because it just occurred to me that I'd probably hadn't heard anyone saying anything nice about the weather today......or the other rainy days, for that matter.....true.....it is a bother to have the rain when you are going out somewhere.....and it is a

Real birthday cards.....where did they go????

Hi!! found this poem in one of the cards.......of old times...just went thrugh the lines...really liked them....and would like to dedicate it to all the people who've been close at some or the other point of time in my life, dont actually remember who it was from...the name's got smudged....but anyhow felt it was too good to be confined to that piece of paper.....so here goes..... How is it that you can tell me things that would make me really angry coming from anyone else........ Whether its that my new haircut looks like its straight out of a horror movie, or that someone I like is a champion jerk in real life When you say them I realise they are not meant to be mean, But things that we both know I should hear And I know I can be just as honest with you Maybe its that we are close enough that we can respect each others opinions, Whether we agree or not It takes a real good friend to recognize things we may not see and point them out in a warm and caring way I'm glad we c
